Review your property, enter your info, and sign to complete enrollment.
Most property tax firms only offer ongoing service agreements. HomeTax also offers a one-year option for clients who prefer a fixed-term engagement.
You are enrolling for the 2027 protest season. Your authorization goes on file now, and we file your protest when your 2027 appraisal notice is issued next spring.
By completing sign up, you authorize HomeTax to represent you in your property tax protest and agree to our 25% contingency fee (no savings, no fee).
You will never be charged unless your property tax bill is reduced.

📋 Track and manage your protest in your client portal
Your confirmation email includes your secure portal link. In your portal you can:
- Check the status of your protest anytime
- Upload documents (closing statements, photos, repair estimates)
- Complete your property survey to strengthen your case
- Receive updates from HomeTax
- Access your personal referral link
Most communication and document uploads are handled directly through the portal so everything stays organized in one place.
We submit your authorization forms to the appraisal district.
A Notice of Protest is filed for each property before the deadline.
We prepare evidence and represent your property at the hearing. Most hearings take place between June and August.
Once the process is complete, we notify you of the results. If there are no savings, there is no fee.
We place your Appointment of Agent on file with the appraisal district. Nothing further is needed from you right now.
The 2027 appraisal notices are mailed next spring, typically in April.
As soon as your 2027 value is set, we file your Notice of Protest before the deadline.
We prepare evidence, represent your property at the hearing, and notify you of the results. If there are no savings, there is no fee.
